1. Understand shop safety and different scientific properties of electrical parts and circuits that make it possible for electricity to convert and transport energy to do work. |
Text questions and written tests support performance tasks backed up by student schematics and notes. Timed standards on resistors, schematics, boards, motors and circuits are performed in a competitive atmosphere. |

2. Use a Power Supply, Meter, Wave Generator, and Oscilloscope correctly. |
Completion of performance standard tasks and the accuracy of timed standards for each calculated setup and measurement. |

3. Explicate, measure, analyze and troubleshoot power, oscillator, filter, and digital circuits. |
Demonstrate mastery by explaining each circuit operation, it's assembly, fault analysis, and repair. One circuit must be chosen for a final project report. |
