1.  Understand shop safety and different scientific properties of electrical parts and circuits that make it possible for electricity to convert and transport energy to do work.

Text questions and written tests support performance tasks backed up by student schematics and notes. Timed standards on resistors, schematics, boards, motors and circuits are performed in a competitive atmosphere.

2. Use a Power Supply, Meter, Wave Generator, and Oscilloscope correctly.

Completion of performance standard tasks and the accuracy of timed standards for each calculated setup and measurement.

3. Explicate, measure, analyze and troubleshoot power, oscillator, filter, and digital circuits.

Demonstrate mastery by explaining each circuit operation, it's assembly, fault analysis, and repair. One circuit must be chosen for a final project report.
