What in the world are you trying to teach me, Mr. Parker?
This class has three points of emphasis:
A) Analytic Explore issues in, recognize bias, employ logic, interpret and analyze information associated with major theories and practices of Psychology
B) Practical Use what you learn in Psychology
C) Creative Synthesize ideas, create, test and articulate opinions regarding the function of Psychology

Unit 6 Motivation and Emotion 5/29- last day (6/7)

What do I have to , ya know like, do?
There will be about 700 points in this class.

Class Assignments- On virtually all days you will be asked to do some menial task to prove you are not sleeping. Each daily assignments will be 5-10 points. Now doesn't that sound like a heck of a lot of fun?
Dr. Cookoo, and Scavenger Hunt Assignments- In keeping with the thrilling pace and sequence of the course, you will be asked to submit some cool and challenging benchmarks. Oh, how you shall marvel at the jolly selection of very cool tasks! But I've said too much already... Some suspense must be maintained...Stay tuned for details...
Research Assignment- This is the big one. 150 points, in groups and we will be working on this throughout the term. I have tried to keep Fridays for you to devote yourselves to this task. Enjoy!
Personality Review Assignment- Several assignments in this class will focus on introspection. (Consult dictionary) The idea here is to complete these tasks and apply their principles into a document which models a psychological case report. The review is to be written third person (i.e., Shawn is very friendly fellow.) Each Friday we will take a personality test.
Participation- Participation in the course is mandatory your participation grade will be calculated using the following criteria indexed with an ingenious and diabolical formula known only to myself and a small band of Siberian mathematicians.:

Class Discussions-
virtually every class will include some class discussion. I will make an attempt to facilitate contributions from each and every student. Also, in some extreme cases I reserve the right to detract points based on disruptive classroom behavior.
